Muppet Modding 2.0 Updates


Here's a quick thread to tell you guys what's new here at MM2 at the moment. I'll update the thread as things happen here to keep you all in the loop and to make sure you are not missing out on anything.


  • [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] - The arcade currently has a lot of games to play! There are forum rewards for getting top scores and challenges to beat and more games and forum integration to come soon.
Added tournaments and games, lots of games!

  • [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] with Xbox Live messaging, friendship requests etc... :)
To use it simply add your gamertag to your details in [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]

  • Xbox Live, Wii & PSN Gamertags - simply add them in [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] and they will appear in your profile and post bits. [Note: there are 2 places to fill in your XBL gamertag, one for the XBL leaderboard and one for the gamertag postbit so fill in both]
  • Groans and Thanks - Use these to thank people for help or advice or if you think someone made a crappy post then you can give 'em a groan! Find these next to the quote tabs on other users tabs.
  • Chatbox! - That's right it's back and better than ever. Live new post and new thread notifications, customisable text, command prompts and of course good old fashioned trash talking!
  • New Download Section - Find all the latest modding tools here for xbox 360, Wii, PS3, PSP, DS & iPod.
  • User CP - Use this to customise your MM2 forum experience. Change your chatbox settings, arcade options, upload pics to your own album and share with everyone else or just your own group of friends, add friends and keep tabs on what they are currently doing on the site from here. Make social groups and hold your own private discussions there and lots more. Be sure to take the time to play around with your options in the usercp, it is a great tool.
  • MM2 Bots - You may notice a few new users here posting around, fear not as they are my little helpers. [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] for example will be posting Xbox Live Marketplace news and PlayStation Store news and more for everyone to see. There are more bots around as well, you'll see them on your travels...
  • Image & File Hosting - Links to the best image and file hosting servers can be found in your post editing area when making a post now.
  • Tags - These can be found at the bottom of your post editing area, they are there to help search engines find your post easier, please use them and tag your post appropriately. For instance, if you are posting about the latest abgx app for xbox 360 please tag your post with the words abgx and xbox 360. Please don't abuse this feature [unless you are in the chat section lol]
  • [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] - This has now been added, use it to download any video from youtube or google videos straight to your desktop where it can be viewed from your desktop or moved to your PSP, PS3, Xbox 360 etc... [You may need to convert the video for some media players]

  • Avatar Egging! - Next to a user's name you will notice a green splodge, click that and a drop menu shall appear giving you the option to throw something at another user's avatar!
  • Facebook Connection - Have a lazy friend on facebook who can't be bothered going through the sign up process? They can now join simply by using their facebook account, tell them to just click the facebook connect tab at the sign up page! It'll add their facebook profile info here and add any friends from facebook they have that are already members here to their muppet modding friends list!

We are aware of a few errors around the site and will try and fix them up asap.

  • Some smilies do not work.

Added a new arcade, much better options etc, also added a load of games but I'm afraid we lost the high scores.

There is a tournament on in the arcade section, 7 places left in it so come join up people!

For the record ( as this threw me off aswell) some threads may not appear in forums, ESP if they are rather old, change this setting at the bottom of the page to correct, so that it looks like it does in picture
